Buenos Aires, June 2026. Laboratorios Bagó presented a new Sustainability Report, a key document to understand the importance of sustainable management in Laboratorios Bagó’s strategy.
This document brings together and highlights actions and achievements from 2025 that have positively impacted communities and their environment, confirming that sustainability is not a goal for the future for the company but a way to develop its purpose today.
“In this report, we share the journey we are undertaking as an Argentine company focused on people’s health through ethical and sustainable management that allows us to continue investing in the country, positively impacting the community, and making responsible use of resources,” says Edgardo Vázquez, General Manager of Laboratorios Bagó. “This commitment is not focused exclusively on the company’s production scale, but rather on our ability to transform every resource into more years of life and well-being for people, anticipating their future needs to ensure that scientific innovation reaches each patient at the exact moment they need it,” he adds.
Focused on advancing its sustainable management strategy and centered on caring for people and the planet, this document is structured around the pillars of economic development, environmental sustainability, and social transformation, with ethics and integrity as its core principles. It was prepared in accordance with the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative – 2021) standards and the challenges posed by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

- Más 13 mil usuarios alcanzados a través de la plataforma digital Bagó Innova de capacitación médica y científica exclusiva para profesionales de la salud.
- 94% de calificaciones positivas por parte de pacientes sobre el Servicio de Orientación Integral de Laboratorios Bagó (SOI), lo que refleja una alta valoración del servicio (sobre un total de 16.055 interacciones).
Social Transformation
Bagó asume un rol protagónico en la comunidad. Impulsa iniciativas que garantizan el acceso a medicamentos de máxima calidad, colaborando estratégicamente con los actores del sistema de salud para democratizar el alcance de nuestra innovación. Gestión ambiental responsable
Con el propósito de liderar la transición hacia una gestión cada vez más sustentable, Laboratorios Bagó ha transformado su modelo productivo mediante la integración de tecnologías de vanguardia y procesos de alta eficiencia que garantizan no solo la rentabilidad, sino también un uso responsable y consciente de los recursos naturales y materiales, minimizando el impacto ambiental.
Destacados:
- 32,5% del consumo total de energía eléctrica de la compañía provino de fuentes renovables.
- 9,3% reducción del consumo del agua.
- 13,6% de reducción en el consumo de electricidad por unidad producida.
- 18,2% de reducción en el consumo de gas natural por unidad producida.
- Continuamos acelerando el proceso de digitalización industrial con la incorporación de herramientas digitales como IA e innovaciones que potencien la eficiencia para liderar una producción de precisión que cuide los recursos del planeta.
