One of the Organizations we work with is Doctors of the World, which is an international humanitarian NGO in the field of collective health, whose headquarters in Argentina is the only delegation in South America of the International Network Médecins du Monde/Médicos del Mundo, which fights for the right to health of people in more than 70 countries.
Laboratorios Bagó participates, through its donations of essential medicines, in two of the Organization’s main programs: Healthy Childhoods – which provides basic health care focused on the family and children and preventive actions on diseases prevalent in childhood and adolescence in vulnerable neighborhoods in the Province of Buenos Aires and the interior of the country – and Health on the street – which is a program aimed at people who survive homeless, and provides them with primary health care, psychological support and social support in the most populated neighborhoods of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
At the same time, we accompany the emergency teams of Médicos del Mundo in providing healthcare to populations affected by various natural disasters, such as floods, which are frequent for some months in certain regions of our country such as the coast, to provide care and support to the people who need it most at that time.
